Formula Updates

Several Seeq functions are updated in this release to help with consistency and ease of learning. Read up on the formula changes in this release.

The forecastLinear() function has been added to forecast a single signal forward based on that signal’s history. The inputs are a time period versus now to be used to calculate the prediction and another time period to specify how far to draw the prediction. Check out more details in the Formula Help on your Seeq server after upgrade.

Asset Tree Navigation for Children of Non-Asset Items

Non-asset items such as signals and conditions are now allowed to have children beneath them in an asset tree. This makes for easier navigation while still enabling the same asset swap functionality.

Additional CSV Upload Date/Time Formats

Day first dates and decimal separated dates are now supported, along with many others. See the full list here.

Administrators

Audit Trail

This release completes the list of Seeq items GMP customers can audit with the appropriate license files. Administrators can conduct audits for changes on items from the Seeq server or through the API. Read more information on the Knowledge Base .

Configurable CSV Defaults

An administrator can apply appropriate server defaults to configure the CSV Import tool to open with day first dates or non comma delimiters. This is especially useful for non-US based Seeq servers, where csv formatting tends to differ from the default.
